theZouk provides an electronic forum for travellers and accommodation providers to directly request and offer accomodation without the need to search and advertise. theZouk also eliminates the intervention of agents and added fees.

For the traveller

Travellers make requests for accomodation offers. theZouk keeps track of all the requests and any offers that they might receive. Requests and offers are time limited which means they will expire automatically without their intervention unless an offer is accepted. Read more

It only takes a couple of minutes for a traveller to make a request. However, as the offers are made directly by the hotels and BnBs .etc. it may take a little time before the traveller receives an offer. The traveller can choose to check their account for offers or choose for theZouk to notify them by e-mail the moment an offer is made. If the traveller decides to accept an offer then the accomodation provider will take direct contact to finalise the booking and payment details. Accomodation providers only receive the travellers personal details when their offer is accepted.

theZouk is completely FREE of charge and obligation for travellers. The traveller can at any time change their personal details or even cancel their account with immediate effect. theZouk maintains a very high degree of integrity which means all personal details will remain secure and confidential. theZouk does not pass information to third party organisations.

The traveller can be assurred that their offer is personal, confidential and comes directly from the accomodation provider without any added fees or modification whatsoever.

For the accommodation provider

Accommodation providers make offers to requests. theZouk keeps track of all the providers offers and any requests that they might receive. Offers and requests are time limited which means they will expire automatically without their intervention unless their offer is accepted. Read more

Accomodation providers can also add detailed information about their accomodation. This includes a Terms and Conditions Agreement, type of accomodation, web address, facilities, pictures and descriptions. This information will automatically be made available to the customer together with their offer. The providers can modify any of this information at any time by signing into their account.

It only takes a couple of minutes to make a offer. Accommodation providers can choose to check your account for requests themselves or choose for theZouk to notify them by e-mail the moment a request arrives. Thereafter, the accomodation provider can choose whether or not to make an offer. At no point are they under any obligation to reply to the request. However, if they do decide to make an offer and it is accepted by the traveller then theZouk will provide them with the traveller contact details in order for them to contact the traveller directly to finalise booking and payment details. In this case theZouk charges a small fee (see our Terms and Conditions) for an ACCEPTED offer. theZouk is otherwise FREE to receive requests and send offers. theZouk also provides a complete, detailed statistical transaction log together with the accommodation providers monthly/quarterly invoice which can be viewed directly online.

Please note that travellers are obliged to accept the accommodation providers Terms and Conditions Agreement before accepting their offer.

The first 5 offer acceptances are FREE. That means that accommodation providers can try theZouk with the possibility to get 5 new customers without incurring any charges. Thereafter, they are obliged to accept our Terms and Conditions Agreement if they wish to continue using theZouk.
